Eric Chan
LPL Registered Client Service Associate
From a young age, Eric was introduced to the financial industry by his father, Eddie Chan, who is also a member of the Perennial team. What began as a familiar topic around the house eventually grew into a personal interest. The dynamics of the markets, the impact of government actions, client relationships, and ensuring clients felt secure—all of these fascinated Eric as he watched his father share his passion for the profession. By high school, while still uncertain about his ultimate career path, Eric had developed clear interests in both environmentalism and financial advising. He ultimately chose the path of financial advising, recognizing its philanthropic nature and clear trajectory, which led him to Perennial.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Eric attended Culver City Unified School District and later graduated Cum Laude from San Diego State University’s Fowler College of Business with a Bachelor’s of Science in General Business.
In his spare time, Eric enjoys a variety of physical activities, with weightlifting being his main passion, along with basketball, pickleball, blitzball, and golf. A lifelong enthusiast of video games and movies, Eric balances these hobbies with his professional aspiration of becoming a full-time financial advisor. Currently, he is focused on gaining hands-on experience on the support side of the business to ensure a well-rounded understanding before transitioning into an advisory role. His father continues to provide invaluable guidance along the way.
Eric’s passion for environmentalism also remains strong. During high school, he was actively involved with the Ballona Creek Renaissance organization and continues to participate in their cleanup efforts whenever possible.
